Elmhurst, IL – Late Monday evening, the City received correspondence from the property owner and petitioner for the property located at the northwest corner of Route 83 & St. Charles Rd. The applicant withdrew their request for a conditional use permit for an automobile service station, a drive-thru for the convenience store, and a variation to allow a ground sign on a property in addition to a pylon. The City of Elmhurst will be taking no further action on the request for the conditional use permits and variation for the property commonly known as 601-609 W. St. Charles Rd., identified as Case 19 P 04.
